Ognjen Grčak

Ognjen Grcak was born in the city of Kladovo on 26th of December 1978.He finishes gymnasium and music school in Negotin, while, at the same time, studies guitar in Belgrade music school “Josip Slavenski” in the class of prof. Aleksandrom Hadži-Djordjevićem.

After that he enters “Musical High School” in Nis and studies guitar with prof. Vesna Petkovic.

After graduation in Nis he’s being accepted on the third year at “Faculty of music Arts” in Belgrade in the class of prof. Srdjan Tosic. He continues his post-graduate studies for Performer diploma on the „Indiana State University“ in Bloomington (Bloomington, Indiana, USA) where he studies with some of the best teachers in the world such as: Ernesto Bitteti, Nuccio D’Angelo and Nigel North.

He was also workig as an AI teaching guitar at the same University. Ognjen Grcak curently works as a profesor of guitar in music school “Josip Slavenski” in Belgrade. He had many concerts as a soloist as well as a part of chamber music ansamble all over Serbia and was the winner of the first price on the international „Guitar-art“ festival in 2001.
